How do I track the performance of a promoted post?

Go to ··· › View insights on a promoted post. A Promotion section shows spend, additional reach, and click-through rate.

View all active and past promotions in Settings › Payments › Promotions history.

Tap Stop promotion in the promotion section of the post insights to end it early. Any unused budget is not refunded.
