Sending voice notes
Record and send audio messages in DMs.
In any direct message conversation, long-press the microphone icon to record a voice note (up to 2 minutes). Release to send. The recording cannot be paused mid-message.
Recipients can play voice notes at 1× or 1.5× speed. Voice notes are stored for 30 days then auto-deleted unless the conversation is backed up (Premium feature).
