New follower notifications
Control alerts when someone follows you.
By default, you receive a push notification for each new follower. For busy accounts, this can be noisy. Change it in Settings → Notifications → Follows → From everyone / From people I follow / Off.
For private accounts, follow requests generate a notification instead. These cannot be turned off since you need to approve them.
