Blocking a user
How to block someone and what it means for both of you.
Blocking prevents a user from viewing your profile, finding you in search, mentioning you, or sending you messages. Their existing comments on your posts are hidden from you (but not removed). You are also hidden from them.
To block: go to the user's profile → ··· → Block. Or go to Settings → Privacy → Blocked accounts.
Blocking is private — the blocked user is not notified. They may infer it if they try to visit your profile.
