Restricting an account

Restricting an account is designed for situations like harassment where you want protection without escalating. When you restrict someone:

• Their comments on your posts are only visible to them (and you, if you choose to approve them).
• Their DMs go to your message requests instead of your main inbox.
• They can't see when you've read their messages.
• They can't see your online status.

To restrict: profile → ··· → Restrict. Manage in Settings → Privacy → Restricted accounts.
